O consumo da literatura erótica: um estudo sobre o perfil do leitor durante a pandemia da Covid-19

Abstract

This course conclusion paper aims to investigate the increase in the consumption of erotic literature during the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil in 2020 by creating the profile of the reader of the genre and its consumption habits. For this, it was necessary to carry out bibliographic research from the critical thinker Alexandrian (1994) and from the researcher in the area of literature Eliane Robert Moraes (2008-2018-2019) to understand the emergence of erotic literature in the Brazilian territory that fostered the creation of a singular erotic literature and, consequently, a reader with unique consumption characteristics. Through the collection of data and information from the application of a questionnaire with readers of the erotic genre and an interview with the professional of the area, Camila Cabete, it was possible to understand the particularities of the erotic literature reader profile, to observe the changes that occurred in the consumption of the erotic literature. gender during the first half of 2020, as well as difficulties and prejudices in relation to the sales process, classification and consumption of works.
