dc.description.abstract | This work is about the obtaining of the coefficient of subgrade reactions’s influence (kv) for a spread footing on the surface at the Campo Experimental de Engenharia Geotécnica da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (CEEG/UFSM). The subsoil investigation was carried out by Emmer (2004) and the superficial layer is a sandy loam with medium to stiff consistency and the average NSPT is 13. The different methods of kv obtaining were those implemented on the Soil Foundation Structure Interaction in the software TQS. To obtain the soils admissible stress were used Terzaghi e Peck (1973) e Vesic (1973) theoretical formulation, stress basic table from the former NBR6122/96 and the empirical correlation with the Standard Penetration Test (SPT). The kv value through stress tension was obtained by the table proposed by Safe, Morrison (1993). The hypothetical spread footing was simulated in the software SAP2000 and for each value of kv obtained were applied different loads to analyse the deformation in the middle and border of the structure as well the deformations obtained to the highests and lowests kv’s values found. It was observed that to the highest kv’s values, the deformations were lower, similar to the lowests kv’s, where deformations values were bigger. Furthermore, it was noticed that the difference between the center and edge’s deformation was higher to the lowests kv’s values. | eng |
