Um estudo sobre técnicas de descrição de percurso de veículos usando a plataforma Arduino
Abstract
Este trabalho apresenta um serviço de descrição de percurso para uma rede veicular
usando como suporte a plataforma robótica Arduino. Descrição de percurso é um serviço
chave no contexto de redes veiculares e serve como base para outros serviços, como navegação, regulação de tráfego e geração de relatórios estatísticos. Plataformas de prototipação, como a Arduino, permitem investigar e avaliar novos serviços antes de disponibilizá-los na prática, enquanto a tecnologia para redes veiculares não está amplamente implantada.
Um dos principais problemas com os sistemas de descrição de percurso é que eles dependem de serviços de localização, que não operam plenamente em condições específicas.
Por exemplo, montanhas e prédios altos podem afetar a precisão do GPS. A solução aqui
apresentada colabora para preencher esta lacuna. O ambiente opera sobre um veículo
deslocando-se em um percurso previamente definido. Um conjunto de sensores de baixo
custo, baseados na tecnologia de SONAR, detecta e localiza o veículo mesmo em ambientes fechados. Os resultados obtidos pela solução implementada corresponderam ao
esperado. Com os valores oferecidos pelo conjunto de SONARs é possível inferir o percurso realizado por um veículo.
