Identificação da condição de sono a partir de características extraídas de sinais de EEG utilizando um módulo Orange Pi Zero
Abstract
Este trabalho em andamento relata os primeiros resultados de um projeto cujo propósito é
a implementação de um sistema microprocessado para detecção da fadiga, ou estado de
sonolência, a partir de sinais de eletroencefalograma (EEG). O uso da plataforma Orange
Pi Zero permite que se tenha um sistema de classificação de estágios de sono de forma
compacta, móvel e em tempo real. Até então, os sinais de EEG utilizados são oriundos de
um banco de dados público, os quais foram adquiridos de 20 voluntários resultando em 39
arquivos de sinais com 20 horas de gravação. Estes são divididos em épocas (ou faixas
de 30 segundos) de onde são filtradas as faixas de frequências importantes para a análise
do sono com a transformada wavelet discreta de Daubechies e, em seguida, são extraídas
características. Estas características são medidas estatísticas que tem como principais
benefícios a redução do volume de dados e o destaque de informações do sinal, sendo
elas a variância, a curtose e a assimetria. A partir delas pode-se treinar o classificador
florestas aleatórias para identificar se o paciente está acordado (W) ou dormindo (SLP). O
desempenho da classificação dos sinais é medido pelo cálculo da acurácia, o qual obteve-se
97% para o grupo de teste, que corresponde à 40% dos dados de entrada (106.285
épocas). Além disso, foram analisados os casos em que o classificador prevê o estado de
sono com pelo menos uma época de antecedência para um paciente e, percebeu-se que
a variância é a característica mais relevante para o classificador.
