Alunos com dificuldades de aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento das inteligências múltiplas

Abstract

This work presents a study on the development of multiple intelligences in students with learning difficulties and aimed to identify and understand how the development of multiple intelligences in students with learning difficulties occurs. For this, a qualitative bibliographic research was carried out. From then on, works were selected that encompassed the theme of this study and, thus, the analysis of texts on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, proposed by Howard Gardner, was initiated. In addition, articles were considered that brought the area of Learning Disabilities, as well as the role of the school in the formation of different mental skills. The results demonstrate the need for a school system that prioritizes the plurality of the whole and the individuality of each student. Finally, it was concluded that the development of multiple intelligences in students with learning difficulties can occur, but for that, it is necessary to take measures, such as changing the forms of evaluation and the offer of continuing education courses.
