Abstract
As lesões cutâneas provocadas por trauma em pequenos animais são bastante frequentes na rotina clínica cirúrgica. Boa parte dos ferimentos podem ser fechados facilmente por primeira intenção, ou tratados até que cicatrizem por segunda intenção. Uma parte deles, porém, necessita de cuidados intensivos para desinfecção e cirurgia reconstrutiva visando a correção do defeito. Em um caso de ferida traumática extensa em região cervical de felino, utilizou-se a combinação de flapes de padrão axial e de avanço, onde os objetivos foram o fechamento da lesão, manter a flexibilidade da região e atingir um bom resultado estético.
