dc.description.abstract | The human gait requests the interaction and the ripening of countless physiologic
systems to give sequence to the necessary events to reach your efficiency. Inside of that
perspective, recent studies have been demonstrating that the movement generated by the gait
of the horse it has been providing countless benefits in the balance and, for consequent, in the
children's gait when submitted the that activity. Those benefits happen because the step of the
horse sends incentives to who it is mounted that resemble each other to the incentives
originating from of the human gait. Before that, the objective of this study was to verify the effect
of equestrian activities on the pattern motor of the children's gait. The study group was
composed by 8 children with medium age 4,5 years old. All presented characteristics of the
elementary apprenticeship of development of the gait, classified by a check list through the
head office of analysis of movement of Gallahue & Ozmun (2005). The participants were
distributed in two groups, control (G1) and experimental (G2). the cinematic verification of the
gait was accomplished through the system of analysis of the movement Peak Motus™, using
the reception of measures of time and space calculated by information supplied by events
during a cycle of the gait. The filmings were accomplished in the plan sagital and frontal of way
bidimensional with the rate of acquisition of the images of 60 Hz. The medium speed of the gait
was controlled, being accomplished by the children in 4 km/h. After the first acquisition of data
(pré-test), G2 participated in 12 sessions of equestrian activities, with duration of 30 minutes,
accomplished twice a week. During the experiment they were controlled other activities to
intervene in the results in both groups. Then of that experiment period new testagem was
accomplished (powder-test). As statistical treatment, the Test of Shapiro-Wilk was applied to
verify the normality of the data. The results proved a distribution non normal, having been
applied the Test of Wilcoxon then to verify if there were differences among the right and left
hemicorpos. The results didn't present significant differences among the hemicorpos, being
used the averages of the same ones then for the analysis. For the verification of differences
between the pré and the powder-test the test of Wilcoxon was used and for the differences
among groups the test of Kruskal-Wallis. The trust level used in this study it was of 95%. The
angular variables demonstrated significant alterations for both groups, however they were more
expressive qualitativamente in G2. In the variables space-storms, there were only significant alterations in the length of the last and length of the step for G2. In the variable removal of the
feet significant alterations were observed in just some subjects. It is ended that the
proportionate equestrian activities were capable to unchain alterations in the pattern of the gait
in children in elementary apprenticeship of development, and among the angular variables the
results were more expressive in the articulation of the ankle and enter the space-storms, in the
length of the step and of the last. | eng |

Esses benefícios ocorrem porque o passo do cavalo
As
