Análise de segurança viária no trecho da rodovia RSC-481 entre Cruz Alta e Sobradinho - RS
Abstract
A segurança viária afeta milhares de pessoas em todo o mundo, incluindo o Brasil, que possui níveis elevados de ocorrências de acidentes, refletindo em um problema de saúde pública que custa aproximadamente R$ 50 bilhões por ano para a sociedade brasileira. Este cenário é ainda pior quando analisamos rodovias de pista simples, que apresentam uma maior acidentalidade. Diante disso avaliou-se um trecho da rodovia RSC-481, localizado entre as localidades de Cruz Alta e Sobradinho, no Rio Grande do Sul, com o objetivo de avaliar a segurança viária a partir de análises estatísticas, geoespaciais e de taxas de acidentalidade e severidade, assim como mediante a aplicação de auditoria pelo Método de Avaliação da Segurança Potencial de Segmentos Rodoviários Rurais de Pista Simples. A análise estatística dos dados fornecidos pelo Comando Rodoviário da Brigada Militar (CRBM) revelou que a maioria dos acidentes envolve automóveis, principalmente afetando o público masculino, sendo as colisões o tipo mais frequente. Por sua parte, a análise geoespacial identificou 13 trechos críticos, localizados entre os quilômetros 1 e 113 da rodovia. Com os cálculos de acidentalidade e severidade, 5 trechos críticos se destacaram, e passaram pela auditoria. Como resultado da inspeção, teve-se 6 segmentos desses trechos identificados como potencialmente razoavelmente seguros e 8 identificados como potencialmente inseguros. Com base nos resultados obtidos, foram propostas medidas para a melhoria da segurança viária na rodovia, que englobam a implementação e adequação de projetos de interseções e de sinalização, a realização de melhorias na superfície do pavimento e a criação de faixas de travessia.
