Além da COVID-19: Um estudo de caso sobre a gestão da pandemia na Itália à luz da teoria da interdependência complexa
Abstract
A partir do surgimento da variante de coronavírus em Wuhan, na China, ao fim de 2019, observou-se a mudança de diferentes dinâmicas socioeconômicas e políticas a nível global, e diversos foram os países afetados em perdas econômicas e de vidas humanas. A Itália constou entre os maiores números e concentrações de mortes e casos durante grande parte deste período, principalmente no início da pandemia, na Primeira Onda. Nesse sentido, este trabalho busca analisar o caso italiano à luz da Teoria da Interdependência Complexa – mais especificamente acerca dos conceitos de sensibilidade e vulnerabilidade. Dessa forma, integra-se teorias de relações internacionais ao fenômeno contemporâneo da Pandemia de Covid-19. Para isso, o texto analisa diferentes aspectos da sociedade italiana que influenciaram a disseminação do vírus no país, assim como realiza um comparativo breve com o impacto e as medidas observadas em outros Estados.
