A inclusão de pessoas com necessidades educacionais especiais (PNEE) na rede regular de ensino no município de Restinga Seca - RS
Abstract
Este artigo versa sobre a inclusão de pessoas com necessidades educacionais especiais
(PNEE) nas redes pública e privada de ensino. A pesquisa que originou o texto teve como
objetivo refletir sobre a realidade da inclusão de PNEE na rede regular de ensino do município
de Restinga Seca - RS, que possui 15 escolas. Especificamente fez-se uma revisão
bibliográfica sobre a inclusão e as implicações pedagógicas; verificou-se quantos e quais
alunos apresentam necessidades educacionais especiais; mapeou-se as necessidades
educacionais especiais encontradas em cada uma das escolas. Para a coleta dos dados
considerou-se a classificação adotada pelo Ministério da Educação, em 2008 no que se refere
as PNEE, ou seja: a) Pessoas com deficiência mental/intelectual, física, auditiva e visual; b)
pessoas com altas habilidades/superdotação; c) Transtornos Globais de Desenvolvimento,
sendo acrescentado, para esta pesquisa, um quarto grupo: d) dificuldade de
aprendizagem/déficit cognitivo, em função da realidade encontrada. Após o levantamento
individual por escola e por tipo de deficiência observou-se que há 68 PNEE nas 9 escolas
municipais, 20 nas 4 escolas estaduais e nenhum nas 2 escolas particulares. A deficiência que
mais existe na rede municipal é déficit cognitivo, 61,76%, seguido da deficiência mental com
23,52%. Na rede estadual é o déficit cognitivo, com 47,36%, seguido das deficiências auditiva,
21,05%, e mental, com 15,78%. A maioria, ou seja, 63,21%, dos PNEE são do sexo masculino.
Podemos concluir que os PNEE estão inseridos nas escolas, embora algumas ainda
apresentam dificuldades para efetivar a inclusão. Existe a necessidade de adaptações físicas e
mudança de atitude na escola e na comunidade, bem como uma melhor formação docente
para atuar com a inclusão.
