Déficit cognitivo e práticas pedagógicas na alfabetização
Abstract
Desde os primórdios da História sempre existiram indivíduos com Déficit Cognitivo,
os quais necessitavam de atendimento educacional especializado, no entanto por não haver,
até meados do século XX, estudos aprofundados nessa área durante muito tempo o portador
de tal Transtorno de Aprendizagem foi vítima de preconceitos e abandono social. Só a partir
da década de 1980, estudos no campo da psicologia da educação possibilitaram o enfoque em
uma nova visão dos processos que culminam na aprendizagem centrando-os na estrutura
cognitiva do aprendiz. Sob esse viés surgiu como alternativa a educação especial e inclusiva
de modo que esta supra as necessidades particulares apresentadas por alguns discentes
incluindo-os no sistema regular de ensino através de práticas pedagógicas adequadas as
possibilidades e limitações cognitivas de cada indivíduo. Tal pesquisa, desenvolvida através
do método indutivo, surgiu então como necessidade de investigar e caracterizar as políticas
sociais e as práticas pedagógicas nas classes de alfabetização voltadas às crianças que
apresentam Transtorno de Aprendizagem ligado ao Déficit Cognitivo bem como a evolução
destas ao longo da História. Com esse trabalho pretende-se envolver discussões relacionadas
aos subtópicos que seguem:
