Teste de recuperabilidade em uma empresa de produção e comercialização de refrigerantes
Abstract
A contabilidade brasileira deu início ao processo de convergência as Normas Internacionais de Contabilidade (IFRS) emitidas pelo International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) conjuntamente com o Comitê de Pronunciamentos Contábeis (CPC), a partir das alterações introduzidas pela Lei nº 11.638/07, que tem como finalidade atualizar a Lei nº 6.404/76, Lei das Sociedades por Ações. Essa convergência estabeleceu práticas contábeis padronizadas que visam eliminar as barreiras regulatórias existentes, tratando de alinhar as normas e práticas contábeis brasileiras as normas internacionais de contabilidade. Neste contexto, se desenvolveu o presente trabalho que tem como objetivo verificar na prática o teste de recuperabilidade de ativos (Impairment Test), sendo um novo instrumento de mensuração de ativos. O Impairment Test reflete o potencial retorno econômico dos bens do ativo imobilizado, pois identificada à existência de desvalorização inesperada do ativo. É necessário à apuração de seu valor recuperável, o qual poderá ser determinado pelo valor líquido de venda de um ativo e o valor em uso contínuo nos processos operacionais. Deste modo, a pesquisa questiona aplicando-se o Impairment Test qual seria o valor recuperável dos ativos da empresa analisada? A metodologia de pesquisa se define como qualitativa quanto à investigação do valor recuperável dos ativos, pois se refere a um estudo documental sobre a situação patrimonial da Linha de Envase de Latas. O resultado final evidenciou que o retorno econômico proporcionado para a empresa da Linha de Envase de Latas foi superior ao investimento necessário à aquisição dos ativos imobilizado analisado, assim não é necessário ser lançada nenhuma perda por recuperabilidade.
