Projeto de uma cadeira elevatória de baixo custo para escadas
Abstract
A crescente expansão urbana, voltada à verticalização das cidades, demanda igual
crescimento na oferta de soluções de acessibilidade para pessoas deficientes e com limitações
motoras diversas. Assegurar a existência de equipamentos que adaptem o ambiente ao
indivíduo é consolidar o direito de livre deslocamento, provendo inclusão social de modo
amplo. No que tange ao cenário brasileiro, o limitador principal para difusão de instalações de
equipamentos de acessibilidade é o custo de aquisição. Este trabalho traz o projeto de uma
cadeira elevatória de baixo custo para escadas retas de lance único, com capacidade de atingir
velocidade de deslocamento superior aos produtos comerciais. Para tal, foram analisadas
algumas das soluções comerciais e as normas da ABNT inerentes à acessibilidade. Com base
nas normas e nos comparativos com equipamentos comerciais, foi possível definir as partes
constituintes principais para o projeto, tais como conjunto movimentador, inversor de
frequência, placa controladora e módulo de comunicação bluetooth. O resultado foi a
definição de um projeto possível para realizar deslocamento de pessoas com limitações
motoras em escadas de edificações. O custo do protótipo inicial é inferior a R$ 2.000,00, o
que é aproximadamente 10 vezes menor em relação ao custo de um produto comercial.
Portanto, buscou-se neste trabalho, além de consolidar conhecimentos adquiridos na
graduação, desenvolver um estudo na área de acessibilidade que possibilite um tratamento
mais justo aos portadores de deficiência física e limitações motoras.
