Conhecendo para intervir: o perfil do usuário da saúde mental infantojuvenil em Santa Maria/RS
Abstract
Estudos recentes destacam que os transtornos mentais atingem em torno de 12%
da população geral. Os sofrimentos psíquicos representam quatro das dez principais
causas de incapacitação, embora a maioria poderia ser prevenida. Devido a estes
dados alarmantes a Organização Pan-Americana de Saúde e a Organização
Mundial de Saúde alertam os governos a investirem em políticas de saúde para
enfrentarem esse cenário, priorizando medidas de promoção da saúde mental e de
prevenção dos transtornos mentais, além do tratamento e da reabilitação
psicossocial, daqueles que padecem com transtornos mentais severos. Este estudo
é o resultado de uma análise documental, de abordagem quantitativa, cuja finalidade
é traçar o perfil socioeconômico e identificar a prevalência de transtornos mentais
dos usuários atendidos. O perfil do CAPSI é de 68% de meninos e 32% de meninas,
com predomínio de adolescentes de 13 anos de idade, que foram acolhidos entre 11
e 13 anos, que estão há menos de 2 anos em tratamento, cuja demanda é o
atendimento com médico psiquiatra, o diagnóstico é de transtorno hipercinético ou
transtorno do déficit de atenção com hiperatividade, moradores da região oeste, do
bairro Nova Santa Marta, encaminhados pela Unidade Básica de Saúde,
especialmente a UBS Floriano da Rocha, que estudam na Escola Marista Santa
Marta, no ensino médio, sendo que a metade estuda de manhã e outra à tarde,
numa família de 4 pessoas, com uma renda de média de R$ 305,95; dos usuários
que recebem benefícios sociais, 25% são Benefício de Prestação Continuada e 75%
são Bolsa Família.
