Revisão bibliográfica sobre os processos de extração de fitólitos oriundos de contextos arqueológicos
Abstract
A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo explorar as formas de extração de fitólitos por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica. Dessa forma, busca-se realizar uma análise das metodologias e abordagens de trabalho empregadas em pesquisas que visam analisar fitólitos oriundos de contextos arqueológicos. Com isso, o trabalho se propõe-se a identificar e analisar as metodologias presentes em fontes bibliográficas, tendo em vista as dificuldades e complexidades do processo de extração deste microvestígio. Essas partículas microscópicas, provenientes de plantas e compostas pelos fitólitos, estão presentes no interior dos sítios arqueológicos em grandes quantidades e possuem um grande potencial de conservação. Desta forma, acabam nos fornecendo vestígios da interação das comunidades com as plantas. Além disso, o processo de extração dos fitólitos, após sua coleta em sítios arqueológico, é uma das principais etapas deste tipo de estudo e que precisa da realização de rigorosos protocolos pelos pesquisadores que se dedicam nesta área de pesquisa. Neste sentido, foram analisadas 30 pesquisas publicadas com acesso livre na internet, realizadas na Argentina, Bolívia, Brasil e Colômbia, categorizadas em quatro grupos (cerâmica, solo, dentes e líticos), com base nos objetos de estudo utilizados para o desenvolvimento desses trabalhos. A partir disso, foram apresentados os pesquisadores responsáveis pelos estudos, os resultados obtidos e os métodos de extração dos fitólitos utilizados pelos pesquisadores. Assim, este trabalho busca reunir estudos que analisam fitólitos e as metodologias de extração encontradas nesses trabalhos, com o intuito de contribuir com pesquisas arqueológicas relacionadas à interpretação de vestígios de plantas encontradas em contextos arqueológicos, temática que, cada vez mais, se torna necessária para a compreensão das relações entre o ser humano e o meio em que ele vive e que ainda se percebe pouco explorada academicamente.
