Educação física para a saúde: pensando algumas possibilidades para o novo ensino médio gaúcho

Abstract

This work have how objective to discuss education for the health in physic education of school with focus on the new secondary education in Rio Grande do Sul, placing emphasis on education processes, for human formation and for school, seeking to understand the possibilities and potential of health education in school Physical Education, this work was developed using bibliographic and documentary methodology, supported by theoretical bases that explore emancipation through education and discussing health mainly through social and cultural characteristics, in order to try to understand the possibilities of health education in school Physical Education in the New High School, using for this purpose the normative document National Common Curricular Base and the support material for teachers of the New Gaucho High School in the area of Languages and their Technologies. Observing what was discussed, about education for the health, and from what the documents analyzed establish, it was possible to perceive a duality, on the one hand, school Physical Education has ample possibilities to problematize health in its classes, through different perspectives and means, for another, have an asymmetry between the National Common Curricular Base and the New Gaucho High School, and that a significant part of the school Physical Education content may not be present due to the low workload of the subject in the first year of high school and the possible non-offer of training tracks in the area of Languages and its Technologies, that occur in the second and third year.
