Saúde mental, atenção psicossocial e sua interface com a gestão
Abstract
A Reforma Psiquiátrica constitui-se em um movimento que prevê mudanças, na área da saúde mental, no modelo hospitalocêntrico, excludente e segregador. Tem como propósito a construção de um modo de atenção psicossocial que visa atender as demandas da pessoa com transtorno mental no seu espaço de convívio, reconhecendo-o como cidadão. Considerando esses aspectos, esse estudo tem como objetivo realizar uma reflexão sobre saúde mental, atenção psicossocial e sua interface com a gestão. Compreende-se que a atenção em saúde mental tem sido um desafio aos municípios, pois os mesmos têm sido chamados a construir estratégias de intervenção nesse campo da saúde, destacando-se o papel dos gestores nesse cenário. Sabe-se que diversos serviços substitutivos foram criados no sentido de qualificar a atenção a esse estrato populacional e as unidades básicas de saúde e de saúde da família, cada vez mais, têm sido requeridas para acompanhar esses sujeitos no espaço da comunidade. Entretanto, as equipes de saúde precisam descontruir os manicômios mentais. Para isso, espaços de discussão com vistas à qualificação dos trabalhadores precisam ser fortalecidos, com o apoio dos gestores. Assim sendo, conclui-se que há necessidade de os gestores se apropriarem das políticas públicas de saúde mental e, articulados com os serviços de saúde, fortalecerem a atenção às pessoas com transtornos mentais, em consonância com os pressupostos da Reforma Psiquiátrica Brasileira.
