Corpos, gêneros e sexualidades: nuances da política sexual contemporânea
Abstract
Objetiva-se, na concepção deste trabalho, refletir acerca da mudança de paradigmas no tocante às questões de gênero, abordando especialmente o panorama da transexualidade no Brasil. Objetiva-se fazer reflexões teóricas sobre a construção social da identidade a partir das idealizações dos estereótipos dos gêneros e sua problemática na seara das subjetividades. Em seguida, atenta-se ao sinuoso percurso enfrentado pelo transexual para ter acesso à cirurgia de mudança de sexo. A problemática gerada pela patologização da experiência transexual e pela consequente necessidade de submissão ao diagnóstico como condição de acesso ao tratamento na rede pública são questões suscitadas por Judith Butler (precursora dos discursos Queer). Por essa razão é que no presente trabalho se destaca a importância do reconhecimento de fato e de direito da Teoria Queer e dos Princípios de Yogyakarta nas Políticas Sexuais do Brasil.
