Comportamento de variáveis fisiológicas durante a aula de hidroginástica
Abstract
Teve-se como objetivo no presente estudo analisar o comportamento de variáveis
fisiológicas e o índice de percepção de esforço durante as diferentes fases da aula de
hidroginástica. Foram investigadas 17 universitárias de 20 a 27 anos em duas etapas distintas:
a) teste de esforço máximo na esteira (Protocolo de Mader); e b) avaliação da composição
corporal e aula de hidroginástica. A partir dos resultados do teste ergoespirométrico os sujeitos
foram divididos em bem condicionadas e muito bem condicionadas. Os resultados obtidos nas
fases inicial e final da aula mostram que a atividade imposta é suficiente para promover os
efeitos de aquecimento e volta a calma. Quanto a fase principal (aeróbica) da aula, os
resultados mostraram que tanto para o grupo condicionado, quanto para o bem condicionado o
índice de percepção de esforço foi 11, quanto a média da freqüência cardíaca máxima (74,75%
e 77,74%), da concentração de lactato sanguíneo (3,26mmol e 3,93mmol) e do gasto calórico
(248,61kcal e 255,4kcal) estas permaneceram dentro de suas respectivas faixas
recomendadas pela literatura para exercícios aeróbicos. Em relação ao pico do consumo de
oxigênio o mesmo aconteceu apenas para o grupo condicionado (53,32%), haja vista que o
grupo bem condicionado apresentou um percentual de 46,43%. Os resultados indicam que a
atividade analisada pode ser suficiente para promover melhora do condicionamento aeróbico e
sugerem que o consumo de oxigênio talvez não seja indicado para ser utilizado para a
prescrição e o monitoramento da intensidade em função do comportamento apresentado,
considerando o grupo analisado
