História da educação física escolar Santa-Mariense de 1945 à 1970

Abstract

Reconstructing the story is critical to preservation of cultural heritage. Understanding the history means understanding the injunctions of the past into the present, so this study sought to recover some vestiges of the time they were structured sports and bodily practices of Saint- Mariense society. The objective of this research was to record the evolution of Physical Education in Santa Maria / RS with emphasis on the period from 1945 to 1970. The research methodology consisted in the qualitative approach, by crossing the bibliographic information from the literature on document analysis and interviews conducted. The results of this work brought to light glitters on the Physical Education of Santa Maria / RS, which sometimes clash with the description of the national literature.
