A atuação dos conselhos da assistência social e da agricultura em Jacuizinho - RS
Abstract
Os conselhos municipais têm assumido importantes funções nas administrações públicas. Suas
dinâmicas e resultados são importantes de serem estudadas para verificação da efetiva participação
social em novos contextos de interações sociais. Diante disto, este trabalho tem como objetivo
discutir como acontece o trabalho, no Conselho Municipal da Assistência Social (CMAS) e no
Conselho Municipal de Desenvolvimento Agropecuário (CMDA). Para a realização do estudo de
caso, adotou-se o método descritivo, a partir de informações da pesquisa bibliográfica/documental
e da pesquisa de campo. As entrevistas foram realizadas com conselheiros e a pesquisa documental
realizada na Prefeitura Municipal de Jacuizinho. Esta experiência demonstrou que o
acompanhamento dos Conselhos Municipais é uma forma de vivenciar a realidade local e dar
cumprimento á legislação que rege os conselhos, propiciando interação imediata e fortalecendo os
conselheiros nas tomadas de decisões e agregando a participação social nas decisões
administrativas. Através deste trabalho foi possível encontrar respostas sobre a importância dos
conselheiros como ferramenta administrativa que pode promover o desenvolvimento do município,
definindo quais são suas prioridades e quais as melhores formas de aplicar os recursos. Contudo,
sobre a atuação do CMAS e CMDA do Município de Jacuizinho/RS, freqüentou possível perceber
que a atuação do CMAS é menos efetiva do que a realizada pelo CMDA.
