Audiodescrição: desafios dos audiodescritores e dos usuários com deficiência visual
Abstract
A audiodescrição (AD) vem ganhando espaços e vencendo as barreiras que a ela
são impostas, para fazer cumprir sua obrigatoriedade nos meios de comunicação e
na sociedade em geral. Portanto, este estudo aborda a importância da
audiodescrição para a inclusão da pessoa com deficiência visual. Além disso, traz
uma breve contextualização acerca da deficiência visual e suas causas, seu
contexto histórico, como também o que é audiodescrição, quais as funções de cada
audiodescritor, suas modalidades e importância no desenvolvimento social, bem
como as leis que amparam a audiodescrição. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar as
percepções do audiodescritor e do usuário cego a respeito do recurso da
audiodescrição no contexto educacional. O presente estudo trata-se de uma
pesquisa de campo e o método de pesquisa abordado é a qualitativa. Participaram
deste estudo, três profissionais de áreas diferentes de conhecimento que trabalham
com audiodescrição no município de Santa Maria/RS, como também, dois servidores
públicos cegos do município de Santa Maria. Como instrumento de pesquisa,
utilizou-se o roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada para melhor transcrição dos dados
coletados e realização da análise dos mesmos. Sendo assim, com base na análise
dos dados, constatou-se que, se a AD tem um roteiro bem elaborado e com a
revisão de um consultor, a pessoa cega consegue compreender o que a ela está
sendo audiodescrito. Desta maneira, é possível compreender os inúmeros benefícios
que a audiodescrição traz para a vida da pessoa cega e para os que dela também
fazem uso, pois além de tornar o visual compreensível pela narrativa, este recurso
inclui e contribui para a socialização tornando a pessoa cega participativa, atualizada
e reflexiva sobre tudo que a cerca.
