dc.description.abstract | Geometry is a content of mathematics that offers possibilities for students to analyze and
represent an understanding of reality in an orderly and organized way for the process of
teaching learning, thus building their own knowledge, in very significant ways, as they
stimulate creativity, observation and comparison, fundamental tools for problem solving. In
general, in the study of geometry we must emphasize the original and basic forms. With the
objective of exploring some concepts of Plane and Spatial Geometry, such as area and
volume, through the use of packages, which are present in the daily life of the student.
Motivating them to participate in the teaching and learning process of the Mathematics classes
with activities that involve concrete material. As a pedagogical alternative in the teaching of
Geometry, it was decided to develop and analyze the applicability of geometry in the daily
life of the students of the Third Year of High School of the Major Belarmino Côrtes State
High School, located in the neighborhood Dirceu, in the city of Cruz Alta-RS . In this sense, a
study on Geometry and its functionality in students' everyday life was carried out through the
packages found in their day to day life. | eng |

geometria devemos enfatizar as formas originais e básicas.
a dia. | por |
