Ferramentas informacionais educativas: o uso do blog como tecnologia educacional

Abstract

When we talk about education, we can’t ignore the new information and communication technologies. And among the tools that are part of the techniques of modernization of teaching, there are those of social communication, in this case, blogs, object of this study. The objective of this work was to develop and verify the potential of digital media as facilitators of the teaching-learning process, as well as to provide collaborative learning by promoting concrete transformations in the teacher-student relationship, making classes more dynamic. The work was carried out in the municipality of Nova Palma, at the Municipal School of Elementary Teaching Candida Zasso, with 69 students from the 6th to 9th grade elementary school. The methodology adopted was of a qualitative nature composed of four moments: application of questionnaire, creation of the blog, realization of workshops using the blog and follow-up of the blog with dissemination of events and school work. The answers obtained were analyzed in order to evaluate which one obtained the highest percentage. After the development of this work, it was possible to conclude that the students were motivated to participate in the activities, in order to divulge tasks accomplished, the teachers used the blog to expose work from their classes, there were shared experiences of the school together with the community, the projects and events were divulged, promoting greater appreciation of the school and contributing to the teaching-learning process, the students engaged, produced texts, poems, drawings and several works for publication, thus becoming protagonists of their teaching- learning and with this it was possible to perceive that the blog together with the teacher, were facilitating tools of this process.
