A inter-relação família e escola no contexto da gestão escolar: caminho possível para a transformação da realidade educacional

Abstract

This monographic report aims to investigate the importance of the family and school interrelation to the teaching and learning progress in the context of school management. This is the possible way to the transformation of the educational reality mainly when it comes to the effective involvement of family in the whole development of students. Specifically it has been sought to identify the role of school and family in the school and social context, to understand how this involvement contributes to the transformation of the school reality and to propose as an alternative education focused on values in family and in school. With a qualitative approach, this study has been carried out by bibliographic researches. It has been observed that the school-family integration is fundamental to possible changes in the social organization, in the family relationship and in the role of education itself in the society. Thus it is believed that the family and school interrelation noted from the involvement of family in the school management and its support in the revival of values is a possibility in transforming effectively the educational reality.
