A influência dos espaços educativos na formação do sujeito com deficiência

Abstract

For the accomplishment of this work, we started from the purpose in which the family has a determinative role in the first conceptions of individual´s construction, and the educational system needs to get going in the process of constitution of this subject as an active being in which society he is inserted. Therefore we proposed this research through wich we look to analyse the influences of the educative spaces in the development of the subject with deficiency. For the data gathering that were discussed and constitute the present research, we achieved semi-structurate interviews with an individual who has Down´s syndrome, besides of the personal diary analysis of the research subject. At the end of this study we are able to realize that the promotion of several experiences of life in different environments worked together meaningfully for the development of the student, not as in the educational process as in his development as a human being. We know the person with deficiency is supported by the law regarding eduactional and social inclusion, but we also know that there are meaningful failures in our country´s educational system, failures in the structure in which it is presented, failures in the professional formation, failures of the society in general in the act of acquiring knowledge about it. The educational system and us, teachers, as a system´s integrant part, we still have a lot to promote the interest related to the effectiveness of the school inclusion, and we must not remain to establish oneself in na old speech, with arguments which disqualify us for this accomplishment, looking for excuses which immobilize us in face of the country´s present educational context.
