Abstract

The city was set up internal control by the Constitution of 1988, we note in our legal system the inapplicability of certain laws in spite of the same linear institute to be followed by City Council. The objective of this paper is to analyze the effectiveness of the Municipal Act No. 1504 of April 24, 2003, which established the Internal Control System in the Municipality of South Caçapava The methodology used was the descriptive method. It is concluded that Internal Control is effective, working independently and with methods and techniques that involve a typical procedure, according to their constitutional and legal role to play in the Municipal Public Administration.
