Visão das aulas de educação física pelos professores de outras áreas do ensino fundamental

Abstract

This study dealt with the vision of the classes of Physical Education by Teachers other areas of basic education. Had as objective to analyze what the teachers' view of other areas of the basic education of physical education classes. Therefore, we sought of ambit qualitative and interpretive descriptive the method to build this research. The data analysis was realized by triangulation of results guaranteed by the credibility and reliability of the data. Two categories were found (The vision of teachers; The role of the teacher’s Physical Education) and two sub-categories (contribution of physical education teacher; Contents developed in Physical Education classes). On the vision of teachers from other areas on the contribution of physical education with other disciplines. On the teachers' view of other areas with respect the contribution of physical education with other disciplines. Five (5) teachers (P1, P4, P7, P8 and P9) mentioned that Physical Education is like any other discipline, explaining its real importance. The other teachers (D1, P2, P3, P5 and P6) related more about the importance of discipline for students, not the perspective that this discipline has when compared to other disciplines. As for the knowledge that teachers from other areas have about the Physical Education were somehow, very satisfying. All teachers have a very positive vision for the Physical Education as school integration. And looking to understand how the professional work of physical education can contribute to students' lives, or D1, P4, P5, P7 and P8 the students improve their vision and thinking ahead to this discipline. In view of P3, many students can combat obesity, because in his opinion, is a factor that generates discrimination in groups. In the P1's view, we notes that she has a totally focused vision for the bachelor. And for P6 and P9, the development of skills is the main function of the discipline.
