Ciências Sociais: apontamentos sobre trabalho e profissionalização no Ensino Superior na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria
Abstract
Este artigo objetiva analisar as relações entre a intermitência da Sociologia como disciplina obrigatória no Ensino Médio, a partir dos seguintes elementos: a oferta – durante o passar dos anos – e dispersão dos cursos de graduação de licenciatura em Ciências Sociais pelo Brasil, as disciplinas presentes nos currículos obrigatórios de graduação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria – UFSM e a formação dos professores que ministram tais disciplinas. Através dos dados colhidos, foi possível realizar significativas comparações sobre a dificuldade de institucionalização do campo das Ciências Sociais, tanto para o Ensino Médio quanto para o Ensino Superior, principalmente no que se refere aos licenciados em Ciências Sociais.
