dc.description.abstract | This research consists in the elaboration of a collection of jewelry-art from the chisel technique applied to the design of metallic surface. As a central motivation, the technique of chiseling is understood in this work as a procedure of creation and also as a theme for the creation of jewelry-art. The research covers the field of jewelry and the technique mentioned above, bringing the development of the implementation of this ancient technique to the present day. The research also demonstrates the practice of this technique as well as the development of a collection of jewelry from its application. Thus, this research includes knowledge of craft jewelry related to techniques of chiseling the metal surface. This work also makes a clipping about the jewelry and some designers by the bibliographic research. As a methodology, Bernd Löbach was used as a basis for the generation of alternatives. The result of this study is the production of a collection of jewelry-art called Superface, where three pieces of jewel-art were created and produced which have on their surface two techniques of chiseling. For this, six different types of textures and patterns were developed by means of chisels that later filled the surfaces of the jewelry developed. For the creation of the pieces, it was decided to adopt as reference the muscles of the face, taking into consideration three regions of human face muscles the anatomy of the human face that include the human face, such as: forehead, apple of the face and chin. These pieces were designed to be worn on the human face and are made of brass metal. | eng |
