Vivências do cotidiano infantil: educação e arte como prática de si

Abstract

This dissertation indicates the practices lived in my infantile quotidian as generators of the knowledge and aesthetic/plastic manifestations construction. I evidence the importance of the place where I developed my experiences, which were in my grandparents’ farm, in the period of six to thirteen years old. In this place, I coexisted with people who made me feel capable in what I was doing and to be recognized as an individual. The informative and empiricists procedures, the attitudes, the beliefs, the values and the quotidian a esthetic, spiced by the daydreams and imagination, composed the practices of my childhood, being transferred to the artistic investigations and to the educative area where I have been acting for more than thirty years. And memory was the great responsible for the capture of the present and absent images, not simply representing reality of a historian memory, but a reorganization of the symbolic elements, which indicate the adequacy to the purposes of the current action. I served my self mainly of Gaston Bachelard, Henri Bergson, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Paul Valéry and Clement Greenberg, among other theoreticians, for the validation and elucidation of my experiences and my infantile daydreams. What was remembered and only told, I started to white down, using for that a methodology centered in the autobiographical narrative, where I passed part of my trajectory of life through a critical and retrospect appropriation.
