Leucemia linfóide aguda (LLA) na infância e adolescência e avaliação da terapia de indução nos pacientes com LLA do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria
Abstract
As Leucemias Agudas são desordens malignas decorrentes da expansão
clonal de um precursor hematopoiético com um fenótipo definido pela etapa da
diferenciação celular, seja de linhagem linfóide ou mielóide. A Leucemia
Linfoblástica Aguda (LLA), é uma doença principalmente de crianças e adultos
jovens. O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar acompanhamento da leucometria de
pacientes portadores de LLA, que fazem uso do protocolo GBTLI – LLA 99 na fase
de indução, atendidos e tratados no Serviço de Hemato-Oncologia do Hospital
Universitário de Santa Maria. O estudo foi dividido em 02 grupos: Grupo de Baixo
Risco de Recaída(RB) e Grupo de Alto Risco de Recaída(AR). Foi observada
redução da contagem de leucócitos em 100% dos pacientes de ambos os grupos
estudados.
