Processos educativos & capital intelectual: um estudo do papel do arquivista nas instituições

Abstract

The present work was developed during the broad-sensu course of specialization in the After-graduation Program in distance Management in Archives, of Santa Maria Federal University.This research was developed with the objective of investigating the archivist´s purpose in the educative processes of the intellectual capital in the institutions. The new social demands, organizational, institucional and technological have demanded of the archivists new position front its professional performance, configuring a market of more demanding work.To this situation one adds the sprouting and the adoption of the concept of informational assets and the value of the information for the institutions.In this context, the scientific and practical development of a professional is closely on to the knowledge, marked for the diversity and multiplicity of information and to know that they constitute the formation of the citizen, by means of the practical sciences theories. The presented research was of descriptiving character, based in a qualitative boarding.The questionnaires had been applied with the pupils of Course of after-graduation long-distance Management in Archives of Santa Maria Federal University. Through the analysis, it is inferred that the purpose of the Archivist in the institutions is assuming new demands and its inclusion in the institucional processes comes opening new fields of performance. When concluding, stands, having been possible to evidence that exactly executing the traditional functions as its attributions, a new link is appearing and being taken root between the institution and the Archivist: of the knowledge and the information.
