Uma comparação do desenvolvimento motor entre crianças surdas e ouvintes da educação infantil de uma escola privada de Sapiranga
Abstract
Na Educação Infantil, a Educação Física baseia – se em atividades de estimulação motora. O Desenvolvimento motor é o processo seqüencial e contínuo, relacionado à idade, pelo qual o comportamento motor se modifica da concepção até a morte. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi comparar o desenvolvimento motor entre 12 crianças surdas e ouvintes da Educação Infantil com idades entre 4 e 5 anos de ambos os sexos, de uma escola da rede privada vinculada com a APADA do município de Sapiranga. Considerando que os primeiros anos da infância são de suma importância para o desenvolvimento motor da criança este estudo foi desenvolvido para relacionar a idade motora com a idade cronológica e apresentar a importância do desenvolvimento motor nos primeiros anos de vida na aquisição de outras habilidades fundamentais. As crianças foram avaliadas em alguns dos componentes da Escala do desenvolvimento Motor (EDM) proposta por Rosa Neto, com o intuito de identificar a idade motora para cada um desses componentes. A EDM permite avaliar seis componentes perceptivo-motores: motricidade fina, motricidade global, equilíbrio, esquema corporal, organização espacial e organização temporal. E também o teste de lateralidade. Como essa bateria de testes foi desenvolvida para crianças não-surdas, para o teste de esquema corporal a professora interprete de LIBRAS acompanhou os alunos surdos e o teste de organização temporal não foi aplicado aos alunos, pois foi pensado em alunos ouvintes e não surdos, já que a tarefa é a repetição de uma frase através da fala. A partir dos testes realizados foi observado que não há uma diferença no desenvolvimento motor entre os alunos surdos e ouvintes. Portanto, a infância é a etapa mais importante a caminho da maturidade para a vida adulta, por isso há necessidade de garantir que esse período traga condições propícias e pertinentes a sua evolução e desenvolvimento motor.
