A coleta seletiva na Escola Municipal Prefeito Camilo Alves Gisler perspectiva na educação ambiental em Santana do Livramento – RS
Abstract
Há uma preocupação com o meio ambiente nas mídias nacionais e internacionais.
Em nosso cotidiano não é diferente, nota-se um desrespeito com este,
principalmente com contaminações em nossas águas, ar e solo. O Brasil é um dos
países que mais produz lixo, é um fato agravante essa produção de resíduos. No
País há uma descarga irregular de efluentes industriais nos rios, córregos, lagos e
entre outras, sendo um grave problema que vem afetando seus ecossistemas e a
população em geral. A contaminação de emergentes também é um grande
problema, pois a contaminação por cafeína, protetores solares, extradiol e outros
são de difícil detecção em análises de água. Descartes de lixos são encontrados nas
cidades e no meio rural, sem que haja uma política eficiente de aproveitamento de
recicláveis. Com objetivo de fomentar a comunicação entre comunidade e escola, foi
realizado um projeto de conscientização com os alunos da Escola Municipal Prefeito
Camilo Alves Gisler, em Sant’Ana do Livramento- RS, com intuito de ressaltar as
contaminações existentes no meio ambiente mostrando no entorno da escola. Foi
possível fomentar uma conscientização da reciclagem para melhorar o meio de vida
dos discentes. O trabalho foi realizado com o início no dia comemorativo da água,
durante dois meses, com aplicação de aulas descritivas, aulas expositivas, slides,
leituras, vídeos, passeios em cooperativas recicladoras, visita a pontos críticos da
contaminação da água, trazendo para os alunos a conscientização dos problemas
enfrentados no meio ambiente. Os discentes desconheciam o tamanho dos
problemas que estavam ocorrendo no meio, vindo a conhecer a realidade
despercebida por eles e suas famílias. Os alunos desconheciam que o lixo descartado sem qualquer separação correta, era um desperdício de dinheiro que
poderia dar lucratividade às famílias.
