dc.description.abstract | 2023 and proposes to interpret, based on the Theory of Recognition, the effects of the
apolitical movement Nonpartisan School, especially with regard to the ideology of gender, in
the construction of identity and self-recognition of lesbian women during high school. The
main objective is to understand how experiences of disrespect, violence and discrimination,
such as compulsory heterosexuality, have affected the self-identification of lesbian women,
resulting in self-denial and social invisibility, to understand the possible impacts of the
Nonpartisan School project and combating a supposed gender ideology in the school
environment regarding the expression of non-heteronormative sexualities. The methodology
used comprises qualitative research using semi-structured interviews; the selection of
interlocutors for the interviews comprises lesbian women who attended higher education in
Santa Maria and have completed high school as of 2017. For the discussion on compulsory
heterosexuality, the authors Adrienne Rich and Monique Wittig stand out, as well like Axel
Honneth regarding the forms of recognition and effects of situations of misrecognition. | eng |

sexualidades não-heteronormativas. A metodologia utilizada compreende a pesquisa
desreconhecimento. | por |
