As contribuições do trabalho da/o assistente social na perspectiva de viabilização de direitos aos adolescentes em cumprimento de medida socioeducativa

Abstract

This work has as guiding goal talk about the minor offenders thematic and the social worker job’s contribution to the sentence execution. For that much, it makes a theoretic and reflexive conceptualization of the adolescent and adolescence categories; exposes the regulatory frameworks concerning minor offenders and the educational measures (EM), also presents the discussion over the reduction of the criminal adulthood at Brazilian legislation. Sequentially, addresses the social worker professional job inside the context of EM execution without freedom restraint, over at the Centro de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente– CEDEDICA in Santa Maria. Then, presents the intervention project executed during the supervised internship in social work entitled “Let’s talk about minors offenders?”, as a professional exercise tool aiming to democratise and qualify the knowledge over minor offenders and the sentences, and also explain the job of CEDEDICA to the three fundamental axes to socioeducation: service network, schools and society. This work seek to demonstrate that democratise and qualify information are beyond the act of informing citizens about this subject, it represents a professional intervention in favour that all people have the right to know their own rights, that because the matter of minor offenders is a discussion that concerns the whole society and its different institutions.
