Pensamento computacional: potencial e efeitos de sua aplicação no ensino fundamental em um contexto binacional
Abstract
A constante evolução das TIC tem provocado a permeação destas em toda a atividade humana. Isto faz com que seja necessário que todos os níveis da educação concentrem esforços em formar pessoas com a capacitação suficiente nessas tecnologias para inserir-se no mercado de trabalho. Sendo o Pensamento Computacional (PC) visto como uma capacidade de identificar e resolver problemas, podemos considerá-lo como um meio facilitador na integração multidisciplinar da tecnologia com a educação. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi demonstrar que o PC auxilia e facilita a resolução de problemas integrando as TI e outras áreas do conhecimento independentemente do contexto em que vivam os alunos, neste caso binacional. Foi realizada uma pesquisa-ação com alunos e professores do 8° ano de Ensino Fundamental em uma escola de Santana do Livramento (Brasil) e seu equivalente em Rivera (Uruguai). Com os alunos foram realizados uma série de exercícios e trabalhos com Scratch, e com os professores a aplicação de um questionário. Os resultados alcançados nas duas turmas demostraram que a aplicação do PC auxiliou e facilitou a resolução do problema apresentado, cooperando na integração de conhecimentos adquiridos nas diferentes disciplinas, e que os professores concordam em que este proporciona um meio facilitador na integração das TIC com a educação. Finalmente, e de acordo com os resultados obtidos, considera-se também que a apropriação do Pensamento Computacional resulta independente do contexto analisado.
