O acontecimento público midiatizado: análise das estratégias argumentativas em Veja e CartaCapital
Abstract
O presente trabalho busca analisar as estratégias argumentativas das revistas CartaCapital e Veja em seus portais online, acerca do acontecimento da agressão ao candidato à Presidência da República Jair Bolsonaro (PSL). Para isso, será utilizada a metodologia de Análise Argumentativa (BRETON, 1999), sendo analisadas quarenta e cinco reportagens publicadas entre os dias seis e doze de setembro de 2018. Além disso, trabalharemos com os conceitos de campanha eleitoral e seus desdobramentos a partir de Charaudeau (2016), Iasulaitis (2015), Rubim (2001), Salgado (2012), Miguel e Biroli (2011) e Ribeiro (2004). Também serão abordadas perspectivas sobre o acontecimento, norteadas por Babo-Lança (2006), Queré (2005, 2012), França (2012), Weber (2013), Rebelo (2006) e Charaudeau (2013). As principais conclusões encontradas são os pontos de divergência entre os objetos analisados, que se dão de maneira acentuada no destaque conferido ao acontecimento. Enquanto CartaCapital manteve-se sucinta, fazendo apenas doze publicações na semana, a revista Veja optou por narrar detalhadamente os desdobramentos do episódio durante a semana. Observou-se, também, uma diferença na terminologia utilizada pelas revistas: enquanto Veja afirmava que o então candidato havida sido “esfaqueado” e “vítima de um atentado”, Carta tratou o acontecimento como “agressão” em todos os momentos.
