Análise do uso dos laboratórios de informática em escolas estaduais de Caxias do Sul
Abstract
Diante de tantas inovações e da evolução tecnológica, tem-se a percepção de que os Laboratórios de Informática das escolas estaduais de Caxias do Sul não são utilizados por professores e estudantes. Com o intuito de corroborar esta percepção, analisa-se a utilização dos laboratórios de informática e identifica-se o real uso que se faz destes espaços. Através de uma pesquisa qualitativa exploratória, busca-se confirmar algumas hipóteses para a não utilização dos LIEs (Laboratórios de Informática Educativa): insegurança, falta de conhecimento, falta de auxílio, dificuldades no acesso ao laboratório, internet, equipamentos obsoletos, indisciplina de alunos ou outros meios tecnológicos. A pesquisa aconteceu em quatro escolas da zona leste de Caxias do Sul. Foram disponibilizados questionários para alunos e professores e houve uma conversa com as direções sobre a utilização dos Laboratórios. Concluiu-se que, apesar de as escolas disporem de vários aparatos tecnológicos, os professores usam dois dispositivos, com mais frequência, em suas aulas: o projetor e o rádio. Eles não têm o costume de levar os estudantes para o laboratório de informática por vários motivos, sendo principais fatores a internet, as condições das máquinas tanto no quesito hardware quanto software, e por não terem alguém que os auxilie no LIE, denotando insegurança ao lidar com as máquinas. Por não compreenderem o funcionamento básico dos equipamentos que compõe o LIE, não planejam incorporando as tecnologias às suas aulas.
